TKSoftware Launches ICONIC Pro Practice Management — and Owns the Clearinghouse at the End of It

Scheduling, the ICONIC Scribe iPhone app, billing, and claims delivery run on one platform. The clearinghouse is TKSoftware’s own: no third-party vendor sits between the practice and the payer.

CARMEL, Ind. — September 14, 2026 — TKSoftware Inc. today announced ICONIC Pro practice management, a single platform that carries a patient visit from the appointment book to the payer and back again. An appointment booked in ICONIC Scheduling opens as the encounter in the ICONIC Scribe app on the provider’s iPhone. What the provider says in the exam room becomes a structured note, then coded charges, then — after one approval by a billing specialist — a built claim sitting in the clearinghouse.

That last step is what separates ICONIC Pro from the rest of the category. TKSoftware is the clearinghouse. Claims are not handed to an outside vendor for delivery, and remittances do not come back through one. The company that writes the software also holds the payer connections, runs the enrollments, and programs the edits.

No third-party clearinghouse. Not a reseller agreement, not a pass-through.

Most billing software connects to a clearinghouse someone else operates. When a claim stalls, the practice calls the software vendor, who calls the clearinghouse. TKSoftware removed that hand-off by being both ends of it — the company has operated as an advanced medical claims clearinghouse for years, and ICONIC Pro is the practice management software built on top of its own pipe.

What owning the clearinghouse changes

One company, one contract, one number to call

Enrollment is ours

TKSoftware’s own enrollment team works each payer-state combination directly — trading partner enrollment, configuration against payer EDI companion guides, ERA routing and pre-production testing — across Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers.

The edits are ours

Payer-specific claim edits live in TKSoftware’s own rules engine. A practice that needs an edit written, changed, or migrated from a prior clearinghouse asks the people who maintain the engine — not a vendor’s support queue.

The EDI is ours

837 claims, 835 remittance, 270/271 eligibility and claim status are handled inside the platform, meeting HIPAA security and privacy requirements along with the technical standards required for X12 EDI healthcare transactions.

So is the accountability

$1 per claim covers the billing software and the clearinghouse together. There is no second clearinghouse invoice, and no second company to call when a claim needs an answer, because there is no second clearinghouse.

One patient, one record, four stops

Nothing is entered twice. The appointment booked in Scheduling opens as the encounter in Scribe. The codes Scribe produces arrive in Billing as a claim already built. The Clearinghouse — ours — sends it and brings the answer back, so the remittance posts itself and the balance is settled before the next visit is on the calendar.

01 Scheduling Visit booked, coverage confirmed with a real-time 270/271 check, patient reminded.
02 Scribe The visit is documented and coded at the point of care.
03 Billing Charges become a scrubbed, payer-ready claim.
04 Clearinghouse Ours. The claim goes to the payer and the response comes home.
↩ And back again Eligibility, claim status and 835 remittances return down the same path — posting in Billing, flagging the front desk in Scheduling, and closing out the encounter Scribe wrote. Because the return trip is also TKSoftware’s, a remittance does not wait on a partner’s file drop.

From spoken words to a claim, in one click

ICONIC Scribe, available on the App Store for iPhone, records the patient visit and transcribes it automatically — and does not stop at the note. The transcription is summarized into a structured encounter, the encounter is turned into coded charges, and those charges are put in front of the billing specialist to review. Approve them and the claim is built and sitting in the ICONIC Clearinghouse before the next patient is roomed, waiting only on the next scheduled delivery to the payer.

01 Transcription The visit is captured as it is spoken.
02 AI summary The transcript becomes a structured clinical note, approved by the provider.
03 Charges The note becomes coded charges, ready for review.
04 Approve The billing specialist approves what will be billed. One click
05 In the clearinghouse The claim is built and queued for the next delivery.
The only manual step No charge slip, no re-keying, no waiting on a billing batch. The one stop that stays manual is the one that should be — a billing specialist approving the charges before they go out.

“Every practice we talk to has the same broken seam somewhere in its day — the note gets re-keyed as a charge, or the claim disappears into somebody else’s clearinghouse and nobody can tell you where it went. We built the whole path instead: the app in the exam room, the billing screen, and the clearinghouse that actually talks to the payer. When a claim needs an edit, we write the edit. That is not a feature we licensed from anyone.”
